New Site, new projects on the way...
Welcome to the new site all you weary internet travelers. I finally got control of the site in my own grubby little hands, so I can update it, change it, etc. Thanks to everyone (Shane, Marcus, Erin, John) for all past help and gracious offers for future help.
What's happening in the studio: We just finished Adam Holt's CD and it sounds great. Check it out on his website (www.adamholtmusic.com). You can link to itunes, myspace etc, from there. Adam is a great guitar player and singer. The project had the guys from Alveredo Road Show as the session band and as co-writers and writers on some of the songs. Adam describes the sound as new southern rock (a little bit of country lime twisted into a big drink of rock and roll). The songs deal a lot with troubled relationships, big girls, and rock and roll. In other news, I'm producing a project for a guy named Blane Brazier, who is a very talented singer songwriter who works in hospice care. Although he writes songs about every topic, this CD is all about helping families deal with, and be comforted in the midst of the dying process. As you can imagine, it's pretty mellow and somber yet filled with hope. I can't wait to have the finished product in my hand and in the hands of some of my friends and family who have lost loved ones. I'm also about to pick up work on my Christmas CD again. It was available to church members last year only as a 9 song semi finished project, but I will be finishing it up in time for Christmas gift buying season and make it available to everyone. It has some great versions of classic spiritual Christmas songs (no mistletoe and no Wassailling I'm afraid) as well as some original Christmas tunes. I'm excited about hearing it finished. That's all for now. Thanks for stopping by......Andy |
